Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a therapy session?

My rates are $125 for a 45-minute session, or $160 for a 60-minute session.

For low-income, underserved clients, I offer a sliding scale based on income.

I am out-of-network with insurance companies.  I can provide you detailed PDF billing statement/receipt for your records.

What are your hours?

I currently see clients between the hours of 11:00AM and 6:15PM.

How long is a therapy appointment and how frequent are they?

That is up to you.  I typically recommend a first "intake" session to be one hour; after that you may prefer 45-minute sessions.  Often in the beginning, you may attend therapy weekly, and then, as you feel a consistent improvement in your well-being, decide to attend every other week to continue progress.  I have had clients attend brief therapy for as little as 3-4 sessions, for several months, or longer-term.  Your needs are unique and we will base them on your individual goals and path.

What age groups do you serve?

I currently see adults of all ages.

Do you provide couples or group counseling?

I currently provide individual counseling.  At times clients request a family member or partner attend a session in order to support their goals, and are welcome to attend with informed consent.  I also have led therapy groups for over a decade and am happy to explore future group options based on client interest.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes.  My current hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00AM - 6:15PM.  I currently have openings between 11:00AM - 1:30PM, 4:00-5:30PM and 6:15-7:00PM.  I will update these openings regularly.
